Our Apartments

The apartments provided by InSpirit Patient Housing are leased by member churches and furnished, stocked, and maintained by caring volunteers.

Locations and Amenities

All of our apartments are located within 2 miles of the Texas Medical Center, many with easy access to the Houston Metro light-rail system, which leads directly to the Medical Center. Uber is also available for a lower-cost alternative to paying for Medical Center parking.

All apartments include the following amenities:

  • Up to two bedrooms. When you apply, you will be asked if you need one bedroom or two.
  • Fully furnished rooms with living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture, as well as bedding and linens.
  • A full kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave, and full-size refrigerator/freezer, stocked for use with dishes, glasses, flatware and utensils, pots and pans, etc.
  • Central heating and air-conditioning.
  • Cable TV and Internet service.

All apartment complexes offer onsite laundry facilities. A few apartments have an in-apartment washer and dryer; however, we cannot guarantee the availability of this amenity.

Please feel free to ask about other amenities.

Rent

All of our member churches aim to keep the rent for their apartments as low as possible. The exact amount charged for each apartment is established by the church that leases and maintains it. Rates range from $45 to $70 per day; most apartments are somewhere in between.

Please note...

All apartments are non-smoking. We cannot make any exceptions to this. In addition, please be aware that the City of Houston has a non-smoking ordinance that prohibits smoking in all enclosed public spaces, open-air gathering spaces such as bus stops and light rail platforms, work places, and within 25 feet of a door or wheelchair ramp.

Because many of our residents are immune-compromised, we cannot accommodate any animals in the apartments. This applies to service and comfort animals as well as pets.

Because these are standard apartments, the doorways, bathrooms, and kitchens are generally not ADA-compliant—i.e., wheelchair-accessible, with grab-bars, etc.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us through the form on this website.
